Hi Kathy from Maryland - pleased to meet you! We planted a cherry blossom tree here in FL, but it has not bloomed. I'm afraid it does not like our climate down here even though it said on the label it should do okay in our Zone.

Congratulations! Enjoy your visit to the 'Big Apple' My advise is to get a subway map at any of the subway stations--it really helps to get around the city. Also, there are a lot of tourist brochures that can help you get around. My favorite places are Little Italy and Chinatown. Have fun!

I love the idea of the baby / childhood photos! I have to go to my dad's to get my pictues, plan on going tonight, I was a much cuter baby than as an adult!
