I urgently needed a few days off work, but, I knew the Boss would not allow me to take leave. I thought that maybe if I acted 'Crazy' then he would tell me to take a few days off.

So I hung upside-down on the ceiling and made funny noises. My co-worker asked me what I was doing. I told More...

How to Sell Toothbrushes (by Little Johnny)

The kids filed back into class Monday morning. They were very excited.
Their weekend assignment was to sell something, then give a talk on productive salesmanship.

Little Sally led off: "I sold girl scout cookies and I made More...

Looking forward to the Argentina/Germany game. I'll be cheering for Argentina. (I was about to say "rooting", but I know I'd hear back from the Aussies.) hehehehe

That last minute of extra time was something else! I always think it's not quite right to decide the game by penalty kicks. Tomorrow's game should be good...Jim I love that second joke!

Hazel - this IS Texas!! We are probably borderline east Texas. Drove to Houston and back today to see the eye doctor - some very heavy rain, particularly coming back.
Sounds like I missed some good soccer today.

Maybe folks are getting an early start on their 4th of July preparations, Jamie.
I had a giggle over the US Embassy here having its reception on the 1st - seems they have caught on to the Aussie practice of celebrating holidays on weekdays if they fall on a weekend. Although the main Aussie practice is to move the celbration to a Friday or Monday so we get a 3 day long weekend.
