For Rayray - there is Geo. from So. Cal who must have had a sex change operation since he read the FOR WOMEN ONLY. The good thing for Geo. is he won't have to cook.

It is snowing out, has been for a about 3 hours - but not heavily but a fairly wet snow. Temp around 30°F

Back at old house, just had a meeting with real estate agent re selling it.

Today's cleaner at the old house did a better job than the one the other week at the new house - and for two-thirds of the price!!

Daughter 2 is going to take a bunch of stuff up to daughter 1 in Sydney when she goes on Friday. But now Mr P has gone off with the shed key from here so I can't get the stuff out to give to daughter 2 tonight!

Will have to send him a message and make him come by here and collect what I need taken to Sydney.

He's supposed to be on leave this week to help with house transition stuff. He had to go to Sydney and back on Monday, then today has had to go in to work twice. I don't know, I think his dedication is lacking somewhat!!

Time for me to depart and go back to new house, Have to come back here tomorrow for another (different) real estate agent meeting, so I'll check in then!

We're glad to see you when we can, CP! I hope all continues to go relatively well.

Jane, Eve, I don't think Rayray is available. My money is on there's a Mrs. R or a lady who'd like to become Mrs. R already. Helloooo, the man is a gourmet cook, cordial, doesn't need sarcasm to build himself up and a poet to boot!

Last week my brother was named Citizen of the Year for our district in the Australia Day Awards. He's been actively involved in service clubs, schools, rural fire brigade and emergency services for many years. I was so proud!
AngieM looks like I left Melbourne just in the nick of time.

Angie, I remember it well but not with fondness. Find a good driving school quickly.
The nerves are the first thing that goes. The students think they can drive and aren't nervous and the parents know they can't drive and are terrified.
Just think, when this is over you only have another two to go through.

well done Telly and Bec, I hear that Angie can't wait to take you out for your first drives, she said to me that anytime you want to go out and drive she would love to teach you!

Relax Angie M, have survived 8 learner drivers so can assure you that it will all be clear sailing from here. Besides I think you might live north or west of city of Melb & I live out east, so I don't in any way feel threatened. Young females are much easier to teach to drive, as they are naturally more cautious than males (at least that was my experience & I had 4 of each)

Congratulations to Susan's brother. He must be very dedicated to helping others. We are all proud of him.

Angie - it can be a worrying time. I remember it well, my son kept up police revenue with his speeding fines until he had to go to court and got some sense. My daughter was no trouble - you have girls, that's good. My grandson, who is 9 loves to remind me that he'll be able to learn to drive in 7 years (OMG!).

Susan - congrats to your brother. You must be so proud.

Ok..Melbourne, its safe to go out again. They are back.
They did alright, but parked cars were a little scary was the report I got.
