I posted solutions to yesterday's brain teaser on yesterday's puzzle by mistake. I will repost now...

First puzzle solution:

Andre - right now the most appropriate Latin phrase would be:

appy - I am going to with the counterintuitive choice of the block. With negligible friction it should move freely. On the other hand, I would suspect that the terminal velocity of the sphere would be slightly higher since it encounters less resistance to the atmosphere, so if the slope were long enough for the objects to reach terminal velocity then the sphere would eventually catch and pass the block.
