KAREN FROM MINNETONKA: My nephew and his family live in Excelsior ... must be pretty close to you. They keep their boat on Lake Minnetonka. Beautiful area ... no fences ... dogs all have those lovely collars that give them an electric jolt whenever they stray across property lines!

There's not many foods I dislike - as my shape would tell you.
but....never give me anything flavoured with artificial strawberry flavouring, it is disgusting.

Good to hear I wasn't the only one who took longer than usual today. I can't think of any foods I don't like; just not much into things that are only sweet (I like a little richness to my sweets). I love avocados, so Thank You to all the growers in San Diego and whatever part of Oz grows avocadoes. Queensland?

I'm going to take a [n autumn] leaf from Karen's book and go for a walk in the sunshine. I live in a CLOUDY part of NY, so we treasure these days any time of year. Unfortunately Melbourne--my part-time home--seems to be the cloudiest part of Oz. I'll be back there by late Jan, so I'll miss the messiest season in NY: late winter.

Foods I hate--onions, peppers, and mushrooms, oh my! (The lima bean doesn't have too many redeeming qualities either ...)

Judy, I've never been able to eat avocados. The tiniest little bit in a salad ruins the entire salad for me. Their particular taste almost makes me gag.

Thanks for the lovely picture, KEITH. I think I'll go and pick the chunks of avocado out of my luncheon salad ... :)

Judy, keep growing the avocados out there! Love them, especially the Haas ones. But like cilantro (coriander), which I also love, some people's tastebuds can't tolerate the unusual taste. Keith, I'll have your avocado! A friend of mine can't stand even the smell of cucumber or anything melony. Funny, isn't it?

I don't like brussel sprouts, olives, dill pickles and avocado's don't do it for me either. They are expensive and taste like nothing but mush. Most people put a lot of salt and pepper on them just to get a flavour. I do, however, like guacamole and sour cream on nachos....drool
