The fridge engineer came today and topped up 'the gas' using a cylinder and something like a tyre inflator - complete with a pressure gauge.
Now I have to 'wait and see', which takes us into the weekend!
So far the temperature is given as 'off the scale' (at 9 degrees +), and it is 6 hours since he was here.

Wagdy - I hope that someday I will visit your fascinating country. When I was a child I wanted to visit Egypt, and that was reinforced when I was in college and read a book called "Shahhat an Egyptian". My instructor was an Egyptian and recommended the book. Recently we took our More...

Very good GMo,
Face cream causes wrinkles too.
People move things around so you can't find them
(especially spectacles and keys).
The alarm clock goes off too early.
Worst of all - price increases.
Any more?

Good morning all.
CP - Mamacita had been diligently building barns, finding treasure and stocking a zoo on FB. The call has been made (by Rolanda) to come back home to Sudoku.
So nice that June and Ken have met up with Wadgy.
Have a great weekend all.

Someone called???? I'm here...Hello everyone...yes, I must admit I've been pretty busy on that other site and by the time I stopped...I was too worn out to move over here for what I knew would be awhile...My humble apologies...but you all have been in my heart and prayers...no escaping that! I will be around more often....at least I will do my best. To be continued.... Peace.

Good Lord! I'm back! After about 2 and a bit years away! I'm glad to see so many messages on my page and thanks to all for the lovely Birthday Messages.
I'm going to have to update my page too as I have moved from the Hunter Valley to beautiful Loomberah near Tamworth, NSW, OZ...
Lots to do, lots to do!

Hello, Mamacita!!! I know where you've been! And I have to thank you very much! As you realize this is the closest this city bred child is going to get to a farm! And experience a stable raising!!!

It is fun though, but as I said...I spend far too much time there. There are lots of folks who have learned to balance their time much better than I....but I'll get More...

Mamacita, I offer a word from Will Rogers about country living and learning fast:

"There are three kinds of men: The ones that learn by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee
on the electric fence and find out for themselves."

Slow internet day - wind and snow and a overnight party with giggling girls who won't close their eyes. So, here I am looking at banksia and thinking that 7 a.m. is going to come VERY early in the morning.

I've got the stable raising thing going too, and do wonder if I've made a bad decision (Farmville) to start yet another computer distraction ... there really aren't enough hours in the day.
