May 8 OUT AND IN

Today's poozle asks you to start with a single letter and make a nine letter word, and then go back to a single word. You have to do this by adding (or subtracting) one letter at a time and making a word each time. You can rearrange the order of the letters. Clues as to More...

Need some help today, I picked up two service projects from the church that I attend. They are birthday parties. I need to set up a birthday bag for a eight-year-old girl and a nine-year-old boy. So my question is, for those who have experience or know a child of this age what suggestions do I More...

mymare, maybe cars for the boy? I know my grandson AND son were into cars at that age.
There are all sorts of craft projects for little girls. Making bracelets? Something like that?
Are you actually making a cake? How about cupcakes? You can't go wrong with chocolate, and, they are easier to decorate!
Sounds like fun!

It's been raining nearly non-stop for the past 7 days; today I donned rain-gear & did some garden work anyway... made me feel rather 'English'. When we spent time in the UK, we even spied workmen doing exterior painting in the drizzle.... A good example of that saying: 'if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!'

Hi Folks, here are the answers to Saturday's poozle. We didn't quite get to a new record, which would be thirteen, but 11 is a pretty good result. Those posting were Hal, Kathy, Plum, Judy, Cake Lady, lonewoof, Joyce, Amelia, Sarah, Peter and Aileen. Only a couple of spelling errors stopped it More...
