5:33 Maen! Does Australia have the equivalent of AAA, or is this guy just completely out of luck! Ouch!

I'd hate to be that guy. I wonder what that person was doing out there in the first place...looks like it's pretty desolate. Is it?

Good afternoon to all! Reminds me of the abandoned cars in Northern Ontario, but they have more rust on them!

Yikes, I wouldn't want to be stranded out there. Wonder what happened to make that vehicle fall apart like that?

6:20, surprising to see a Landcruiser stuck like that, they usually run through anything and anywhere.

These are probably stolen cars that are dumped.

Martha - I don't think the ones in fi's photos would necessarily be stolen ones because I don't think you would get thieves who would bother going into the outback this far to abandon them. They are just broken down vehicles which are too far away from habitation to be retrieved. They have possibly been travelling in a convoy with other 'mates' like my son has done a couple of times.

It's definitely a he - probably nothing under the bonnet.
We have just driven Sydney to Melbourne in ten hours, so I am a little bit whacked. Time for bed, and its only 6pm!

I called this one Clubhubs!! If you saw the front of the vehicle you'd see that a snatch strap was tied to the bullbar from under the car - the chassis??, supporting the axle and apparently the vehicle had been driven like that for some miles before being completely abandoned. HE was on the same More...
