Could have just as easily called it abstract art, you must have timed it just right

There is a picture of me taken at a similar occasion, when I was ten. However, a bit of sparkler had just hit my foot when my mother snapped the shutter, so the picture shows my face in agony, mouth wide open in a scream, all beautifully lit by the sparklers.

Hello Anne...we have had some exciting moments back home here with boids of the Satin Bowerbird type! The young male built a new bower, which I admired, then it was ripped apart an hour later by the alpha male!! Fireworks indeed!! I admired your cute magpies a couple of days back too. cheers, Rob

We have to take sparkler pictures every summer and also photos with the glow sticks. The trick is actually finding a night dark enough for the long exposure.
