Very hot here today, mid-90s (35-37C). An ''Ozone Alert'' means that anybody can ride a bus without paying. Wind continues SW, 5-10. Perfect beach day (but a Monday) until the thunderstorms roll in during the afternoon.

Happy Birthday to anyone celebrating! To Ian, let me just add that we miss you on Easy. A daughter and son-in-law live in Boston, so I always enjoyed your weather reports!

Handsome dog. Super hot here today as well. The Red Cross is giving away free fans. Most small towns have set up 'cooling centers'. I haven't heard anything about ozone alerts, but I live in rural USA - not as much auto or industry pollution around here!

Hey Deli from Buenos Aires--I ADORE cold, sunny days. This heat is killing me! I was in your city last March - it was beautiful and fantastic! I'm looking forward to my next trip to Buenos Aires! History, friendly people, and good shopping for my friends who like to shop. Although... I still think the Midwest USA's corn-fed Angus beef beats Argentinian beef anytime!

Ian, we have 108 degrees today but only 19% humidity and 58 on dewpoint. REally not as bad as your 90s. I spent one year at MIT and your heat is far more miserable than ours.
The tunnel construction was just beginning when I was there. I took public transportation the whole time because traffic was unbelievable. You have my sympathy!

Ian, what the heck are you doing over here on Hard? With out so much as a bye 'yall! Come back! Please!! Or at least explain yourself. We are confused, bereft and slightly miffed. And just don't know how to start the page properly anymore.

Ian, I miss you on Easy, too! I don't always get on in the am, but when I do, your weather reports work for me since you're only 2 1/2 hrs south of me. And when my boys are in school in MA in the fall, it will be great to know their weather!

Come back to easy Ian, we miss you. I no longer know what the weather's doing in Boston, and your deputy tells us things like 'It's rainy in some places and not rainy in other places'. He's hilarious, and always right, but we need you to turn page 1 on time too. He's always a few minutes late.
