If you think the picture is interesting, you should step inside this shop! I was a bit thick and thought it might be a regular leather shop - it wasn't. Everything was black leather and chrome. Whips, chain mail vests, collars and leashes (not for animals), chaps, vests, thongs, pouches, etc.

I left very quickly...

maen all! poor key west, as if it didn't have a bad enough rep. now i see it even here with sordid connotations. even with the limp-wrist sect its still one of the nicest towns in the usa. i worked in marathon for quite a while and got to know the keys well. my sister now winters on sugarloaf.

mAen all - been to the keys many times. My mom and dad met in Key West in the 50's. A lot has changed - I can tell you that. The shop must be on duval street. Warm there today.

I had a sailboat named Rainbow for 20 years. We flew the rainbow flag and it did not mean the same as Glenn's picture. We thought of our boat as the pot at the end of the rainbow because it brought us so much joy in just the sailing of it. My wife and I miss it desperately now that it is sailing on Lake Superior with our grown son and his family.
