Good one again Des. You're either up very close or have a good zoom on your camera. Seal it with a kiss, you're so close.

4:49 Looks like a pinup shot (for seals, anyway) :)
 |  |
Des, Nice job. I didn't know there were seals in Peru.
 |  |
Easy hard today - even for a seal!
 |  |
7:03 - just couldn't get going tonight. Well, I'm off to bed; goodnight all in sudokuland.

Gray Friday here - good weather for seals. Kiwibird, are you back from your European vacation yet?

Looking for some help from y'all. My daughter has a student presentation to give in her microbiology class and, long story short, she is looking for synonyms for 'vomit'. (Barf, hurl, puke etc.) She's hoping for some local slang terms, and would also love some foreign language words. So there's the More...

Well Done Nice Seal

Afternoon all
One for Alene - Chunder
 |  |
Somewhat tricky sudoku today.
 |  |
Thanks, Milly, that one's brand new to us!
 |  |
Alene,
You're gonna love the responses you get to this request! How about technicolor yawn, praying to the porcelain god, ralphing, blowing chunks, losing lunch, upchucking. Can't wait to see what the international crowd comes up with!
 |  |
Mike: So far technicolor yawn is my personal favourite. Thank you!
I, too, want to see some international terms. :-)

re SEAL (lovely photo, Anne, is that one of yours?). Does anyone remember Andre the Seal from Rockport, Maine? Wonderful true seal story. And no, I don't think Andre from England is a reincarnation...A from E being a she and A the S being a he ... but then, you never know.... LOL
 |  |
Alene, one more - calling Europe on the big white porce...

Yeah, but can you clap them and balance a ball on your nose at the same time? Huh huh?? I guess you're a pretty good swimmer and catch your own fish, too!

Good afternoon to all, and good picture Des! However, I think that guy must be a tourist as I'm sure he actually lives off the east coast of Canada!
 |  |
Hard puzzel today. I cant help but laugh at the many names for vomit.
 |  |
Celia from Toronto, I remember Andre! We have that movie on VHS. It is a favorite and we have watched it many times.
 |  |
Alene, Most commonly heard when I was growing up: toss your cookies.
 |  |
13:48 Thanks for sharing your travels Des
 |  |
I come from a land down under
Where beer does flow and men chunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover.'
 |  |
Liquid Laugh, Ralphing, Wretching, Yak (as in 'he's gonna yak!'), Pitching the Ball

In NZ we use chunder mostly, then spew, barf, spit, chuck, throw up, (as in the cat has thrown up a hair ball and I have stood in it!). Any more come to mind I'll let you know.
PS Cute seal???
 |  |
To Alene: Cry Ruth, Ralph, cry Ralph, technicolour yawn. Try http://www.geocities.com/mbordt/chunder2.htm

Thanks Fi - I was trying to remember the words - funny how it's such a good song, given the topic!

Hey Loza,

Traveling in a fried-out combie
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast
And she said,

'Do you come from a land down under?
Where women glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, More...
 |  |
It's 7.15pm and I can hear some one out in the street chundering (parking a little tiger in the bushes for someone to find) It must have been a finals party somewhere. Phew!! It was short-lived. In Darwin with the open windows, soud sure does travel.
