Thought this puzzle was fairly easy for a hard.

I took the picture last year. In the summer the humming birds drink the feeder dry everyday.

Is it just me or did they get medium and hard mixed up today.... hard went a lot faster than medium for me.... :)

9:17, I'm so slow this morning

The hummingbirds here are very territorial. A hummer will sit high in a tree and swoop down to drive other birds off. I've never seen this many feeding at one time.

Twain Harte is about 30 miles north of Yosemite Nation Park at about 4000' altitude. We get alot of humming birds and some stay all year, even in the snow.

2:47 after setup. That is an amazing photo. My daughter loved it. In addition to the 5 humminbirds you can clearly see, it looks like there is a 6th behind the feeder - you can sort of see a bit of the tail hanging down. We have seen some hummingbirds around here since moving here last summer and now I am feeling inspired to go out and get a humminbgird feeder! Thanks.

Jill from Tacoma - try planting some flowers native to Washington that attract hummingbirds, then set up feeders. They will provide entertainment for hours. When we lived in NM we had a 'rufus' that was very territorial and entertained us hours on end swooping down on others who tried to feed.

10:02 - we have a lot of hummingbirds in our yard almost the entire year. We must have five feeders spread around and my wife refills them about every other day.

Cool hummingbirds! I've never seen that many around 1 feeder; never more than 2 at a time; there's always been one that chases everyone else away

Have just finished this one and noticed the boxes 'greying out' as I went. Good idea! I'm still learning my way around the 'online' version, but I'm getting there.

Cute Hummers - we have a very similar bird here - the Sunbird (Nectarinus Jugularis, I seem to recall) that are very similar, and build the most fabulous nests, the pairs build the nests and the male feeds the babies once they are hatched, mother sits on the eggs after laying. They build near areas More...

My first day at Sudoku. I got the Easy and Medium out in about 5 and 30 mins. Took me a couple of hours for the hard, and had to cheat by checking a couple of moves. Would like to know the tricks that made today's Hard puzzle as easy as the Medium (according to today's comments). Cheers
