Hey Yes it is one of mine. I took this last November - same trip as the 'wrecks'. Thanks for the comments everyone. Jan/ Florida... That grass never gets mowed. That is natural bushland. I think the bird may have been a little nearer than it looks - over the billabong. It was some sort of hawk/ eagle CG. I'm not sure. My eyesight isn't good enough.

Forgot to mention, that this is a picture of that area at the beginning of the Wet (Wet Season) Right now towards the end of the wet - I'd expect that to be pretty much a lake. The rushes at the edge of the billabong might not be much taller but certain species of grass (in particular spear grass) not submerged would be 4 or 5 feet tall.
