8:13, that brings back memory. I watched a small group, Nick Boston and the New Orleans Jazz Band, play in that hotel in 1982.

From it's website page it is heritage listed, 3 levels of bars & function rooms, no accommodation.
Was there a sudoku meet there? The ladies in the home page photo were wearing Boas & Tiaras?

In Australia, the word 'hotel' does not necessarily mean a place with rooms for sleeping overnight. Lots of old places that look like old Wild West bars, what Americans might call saloons, are called hotels in Australia.
