Judy, I have found that I enjoy the vegemite on sliced, toasted french bread. Yum!

Funny how the comments here always seem to come back to Vegemite -- an Australian obsession, obviously, cliche or not. I've only ever tried Marmite myself, and Bovril (which after the BSE crisis, went vegetarian for a while); all similar but different, I'm told.

The sun is trying to come out, but more rain is forecast. Floodwater is flowing through town, schools and shops closed/closing (son sent home from work on full pay so he's ecstatic). The rain is heading south, fingers crossed that it makes it as far south as it's needed. Tell me when to stop blowing rosemary, tjmac, Rose et al.
