I don't know what sort of trips are available far north that might expose you to actual icebergs of any size (seems dangerous to me), but I am sure others on this site will have that knowledge.

No. It isn't the Endeavour. It is a similar ship but not the same. I've checked the two pictures. very similar incident.

Sheila - you could use them to make your Xmas cards next year. I can picture the snowflakes stuck to coloured card with a message penned above. Actually, one larger snowflake with several smaller ones in an irregular pattern around it...

We are trying to think up excuses to stay here longer but we usually head back north around the third week of March. We still have our motorhome on the market and this is the best place to sell it so we may be forced to stay a bit longer.
