Phanton, instead of critiquing all the posts, why don't you tell us what things are like in your neck of the woods?

Theresa, we have had a smattering of rain so far, but not the heavy storms that were forecast, at least not in my part of Ottawa. The rain moving in has lowered the temperatures though, down to the high 20's. Much better then what 34 and 35 we have had for several days.

Greg, about 15 minutes after I posted, a brief storm went through here, with heavy rain lasting all of 2 minutes! Hope there's more to come.

It seems no one got the message I left this morning before changeover. Except Fiona! lol

Hello everyone, after the photos of babies the last two days it seems that we are following through into the animal babies and he/she is just as cute.
We have had sunshine here today but the clouds are starting to come back, nooooo we have had enough of the rain.

Got home about 30 minutes ago after a long and relaxing (no wine involved, just lots of chatter) lunch with Bev from Carstairs, Canada. There were 3 of us Canberra Sudokuites - Joann (who organised the lunch), Chris and I. Have just uploaded a photo to my page of us all.

Well, so much for today's thunderstorms. I went for a walk on the beach mid-afternoon and it was beautiful blue sky and a slight breeze. Absolutely glorious, and the beach was like the photos on medium & hard, all wavy patterns and a very low tide. The middle of winter!

Hey, Shannon, as we partially discussed awhile back, we seem to have lived parallel lives in many respects: both of us skiers, both having lived in Chicago (my roots are there), Denver (I lived there for a short while many years ago) and Wisconsin (first hubby and I had a place on Lake Geneva), etc. However, I now detect one glaring difference: YOU ARE A CUBS FAN, AND I AM A WHITE SOX FAN!!!
