Not talking about rich, just well off! My students who go into nursing make more their first year than I make. They have an associates degree while I have a bachelors degree, two masters degrees and a doctorate. But I wouldn't give up my job for more money. I have turned down 6+ figures - I just love my job too much! Heck, I don't even consider it a job!

Warren when you say nurses in the States in their first year after graduating earn more than you WOW!!

Is that not what your current employer is paying for? Your knowledge and the ability to pass that knowledge along?

My boss has just bought a crock pot/slow cooker and has found a recipe from the U.S.A. that uses 'Cream Of Cheddar Soup'. Can anyone tell me what this is ?

Col, Campbell's Soup (Brand Name) makes a Cream of Cheddar Soup and Cream of Celery ,Cream of Broccoli, Cream of Potato, Cream of Mushroom and I think their might be a few more.

Cream of Cheddar, so cheese soup? Sounds very odd. Must be an American thing. I've certainly never seen or heard of anything like it in Oz.
