2:18 they look strangely creepy in the photo - perhaps it's one of those "had to be there" things?

Ice in Florida, Kathy? Yikes! We've had plenty of sub-freezing temps here but no ice yet! I am getting mighty tired of covering up our tender vegetation, however. Hopefully, tonight will be the last night for awhile.

Did anyone else have trouble with #6 in Fiona's puzzle? I finally figured it out (I think) but only after receiving a note from Fiona telling me my first guess was wrong. I knew "wan prawn" was a stretch, but that's all I could come up with yesterday!!!

HI all! Don't have time just now to give out the answers - and the alternatives I was given - but will pop in later with the list!

I didn't come up with the one she wanted, either, but she DID accept my solution for #6.

Hey, Kathy ... how come Kathy/Valrico got a dog with a bone, and Mo and I got a lifted leg? And today's pooch above is giving us the finger!

Are you NEVER satisfied, woman?
Here's your lousy bone!

Kathy - Question: Do you have all those smilies stashed away on your page, or do you submit them for approval as you need them? The reason I ask is because it often takes me several days just to have an avatar approved.

Thanks for the Al Gore poetry prize link.
I am especially pleased that a sheep poem won.
As very few poems in England were written here until very recently, let alone sheep poems, this is a triumph!

I have to have them all ready to go, Jane. There's no way I could look for a great smilie (it can take many hours), shrink it, submit it and have it ready for a snappy response in a mere minute.

Jobs

1. My first job was working in an orange juice factory but I got canned. Couldn't concentrate.

2. Then I worked in the woods as a Lumberjack, but just couldn't hack it, so they gave me the axe.

3. After that, I tried being a Tailor, but wasn't suited for it --mainly More...

OK here are the answers to yesterday's riddle which gave Plum, Gail, Heidi, Judy, Kathy, Cg, Bluey, Jane,Keith and Debby a bit of a laugh. The alternatives I received are in brackets!

Still what we would call cold here in SE Texas. Hubby keeps telling me it is warm now, but actually it is only warmer, not really warm. Rode my bike this am and it felt very cold as there is a light east wind, which seems to have more wind chill than the "northers" do. Lots of broken More...

Jane, I have many of the smilies stashed. In the past it has taken quite awhile to get them approved, but lately they are approved right after I submit them. Our hall monitor seems to be on the job!
I really wish there was a way to organize them.....it can take a long time to go through them and find what I'm looking for.

Yea, right Judy, and a couple of other mythological extravaganzas he's tried to sell. The main one being that he actually registered on the IQ scale. Most of us country boys recognize what not to step in. Especially on a hot day.
