OK, granted, it was a gal party but you all travel so far for a day of wine and dine and one of the big announcements is how many pairs of crocs Jane has? The differences between guys and gals seems even more vast. How many guys whould have noticed that she was even wearing crocs? Fascinating.

Our summer has been wonderful, Jeb ... thanks for asking! All day today and tomorrow morning, we clean up, close up, and button up the cabin for the season. We'll probably sneak back in during the Winter, which entails skiing uphill about 3 miles, dragging all of our earthly needs, including More...

I've been married long enough to know the rules. Some I don't understand but they remain inviolate nonetheless.

So, its back to reality, bummer. But is must be a wonderful, healing, therapeutic to enjoy such a Shangri La for a while.

Home again - joined some colleagues for a morning tea/coffee get-together at the National Library which sits on the shores of Lake Burly Griffin in the centre of Canberra. It's another fantastic spring day in Canberra. Was tempted to round off my outing with a visit to Caberra's spring flower More...

I need someone's help.
Last week someone; I think it was CP, went to a conference about countryside and gardens. They posted a link. I had a quick look but forgot to bookmark it and there were some interesting photos and articles. I would like to go back and look now I have more time but cannot find it. Please help.

Hello Mo, try sending CP a private message, she may still have it bookmarked herself.

Acutally, I'm hailing from Shipshewana, Indiana -a very nice drive down from Battle Creek, MI. Enjoyed seeing the buggys on the road - those horses can trot. Getting ready to explore the town More...

Had a great time yesterday at Clara's. A nice day - great shopping, saw a lighthouse, good food - nice people and just a day away from home was nice - Thanks fo the invite and the great time.

That almost sounds like an EBay page...

Rare, roast beef sandwich...buy it now!

I think a seven day listing would make it a 'well done' roast beef sandwich...

of course, with the great meal yesterday and knowing now the Amish feed you, I'm sure, I really should be walking home to Naperville, to burn off some of it -- Jane, I forgot my bike to ride back home.

mymare - you two enjoy your day! Some silliness: Does anyone (besides our family) still yell out "slug bug, no slug back" when they see a VW Beetle? We've expanded into a few other models of conveyence. Little Plum likes picking out Jeeps. And when we see an Amish buggy it's More...
