Mymare, even when they do move out sometimes they come back!!!
My older son's bedroom became my office when he moved out and later got married. 5 years later he got a divorced and showed up at our doorsteps! I got kicked out of the bedroom and my office became a corner of the living room for a few years. When he moved out again I got my office back. And I'm not going to budge from it!

And when younger son moved out my hubby got his studio. It was bigger because we figured that he would keep all his toys in it and play in there!

My "office" used to be our dining room. Part of my computer/desktop surface was our dining room table. Both our daughter's bedrooms became Lynne's TWO offices.

Of course, my workbench out in the garage has my old desk chair at it, so it could be considered more office space.

Think I'll put on the kettle for a cup of Ti.

My computer room is my daughter's old bedroom. Hubby has his own office waaay at the other end of the house. Works like a charm. Except his computer died and he is using mine until he orders a new one. Hence, I'm not on this site until after 10:00 AM, when I kick him out.

Oh well, Plum, it brought on an excellent cup of tea anyways! And I have you to thank! I think maybe my next cup will be my yerba mate! Since I've been sick my cup of tea has helped me though the day. Since I don't feel like eating, I have lost weight, even though I haven't been exercising. Not bad, not all bad.

Good Maen everyone!
Just happy to have made it here while it's still morning! Still a bit turned around with time since I was upside-down for 3 weeks.
The most wonderful 3 weeks I can remember. Thank you to all my wonderful Australian hosts!

Hi Vici, I'm glad to see that you are back in the land of the living. I was beginning to worry about the loud silence coming from 'Up Over', but I figured you were probably just resting.
We are back in Sydney after a long drive up the Highway yesterday. It seems to get longer every time I do it.
Anyhow, welcome home.

Good afternoon to all! An old tree in the garden... As Chris Baines said "By gathering seed from trees which are close to our homes and close to our hearts, helping them to germinate and grow, and then planting them back into their original landscapes, we can all make a living link between this millennium and the next, a natural bridge from the past to the future."

A big-city California lawyer went duck hunting in rural Texas. He shot and dropped a duck, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of a fence from where the lawyer shot.
As the lawyer started to climb over the fence, an elderly farmer drove up on his tractor and asked him just what More...

The wind, still issuing the howls of wolves, chases horses with white manes along the surface of the sea. The Atlantic waves grow ever higher and more threatening then crash upon the pebble beach, throwing missiles into the air; while the tide ever approaches its zenith by encroaching upon the fortified promenade.

Hmmm, tried to sailboat race in those conditions and was lucky just to be towed in with a mast snapped completely in two held together believe it or not by the sail and rigging.

I know this is going to sound awful but I'm sitting here listening to Josh Groban singing Christmas songs. I'm Buddhist but I love to hear Ave Maria and Amazing Grace. Oy gevalt, I'm even swearing in Yiddish! Now how cosmopolitan can one get?

The wind has died down within the last half-hour or so.

I am looking forward to some time off next week. I had 2 very busy weeks... working on H1N1 prevention. I did not say yes for vaccination next week. I cannot see myself in a room with crying children. My ears cannot stand it at all!
