I am so thrilled! Just got a call from my friend Brenda who told me she got me the shrimp I wanted for our party Saturday. $4 a pound for jumbo shrimp (heads off) right off the shrimp boat in Darien! Of course, she'll have to freeze them so they don't go bad by the weekend, but at that price, I might have to get some from her today for our supper tonight! Yay!
