It'll take more than a Bit O' Luck...
Or maybe that's what they didn't have...
Or maybe That's what they NEED ...

Face it: This is out of the whelm of luck or no luck.

An Angry Awakening

There’s an incessant pounding of aftershocks;
like irregular ticks from underground clocks -
each an exploding magma mine -
jolted to life by the magnitude nine.
Mother Earth wakens from idle sleep -
to adjust her realm - and close vigil to keep -
on the More...

Saint Patricks day is the day for planting peas and sweet peas in Canberra so I have a pleasant job in the garden later in the day. In my mind I can taste the delicious sugar snaps and smell those sweet sweet blooms.

Very slow! Started cooking the corned beef for the soup dinner before Lenten Services tonight. Making a Corn Chower w/ Corned Beef, Potatoes & Carrots. Someone else is making Split Pea Soup. Another person brings the breads & others desserts. A little of the green & the orange.

Eve, how do you cook your corned beef? I had some a couple of days ago that was baked with a layer of onion and orange slices under and over it in a baking pan and then covered with aluminum foil and cooked slow and low for 3-4 hours. Delicious.

Nice picture. Looks peaceful. For those of you who have been around long enough to have any idea who I am, I updated the picture on my page. Azariah turned 2 yesterday, so I figured it was time for the newborn hospital picture to go.
