The news just got worse. Bo Schembechler has died. Very sad not only for his family but for all the Michigan players, staff, & fans. Maybe the team can use this as added incentive to win tomorrow - the old ''win one for the gipper'' mentality. Hope God will give Bo a nice house in Heaven with More...

Hugh; you may be the only one watching - it doesn't start 'til 3am your time. should be a crackking match -we ran in 4 tries to beat South Africa last weekend.
By the way it'll be one of the last matches at Landsdown Road before refurbishment- playing (garrison games) rugby and soccer at Croke Park in the meantime.

Oh, Kathy, that's terrible! I can see his book, ''Bo,'' from where I am sitting right now in the den. Good man.

Sorry I stole your joke and posted it ... :)

Lk from MN - have you tried the 'Hal Leonard' website. They seem to have a lot of music. Lots of luck.
 |  |
Greg, I was a student at NDC. You closed yours down at the same time we we started one up. One of us got it wrong.
 |  |
Debby, funny you should mention Hal Leonard, they were my first stop because their home warehouse is about 4 miles from my office. No luck there

Thank you for trying!

LK FROM MN~
I found ''I could write a book'', under Broadway musicals, in 2 different sites.

LK from MN - How about your local library? or maybe your local book store? I have been searching online. No luck. Is this a fairly new play? The author of the music is Tim Acito. Zanna is spelled with two n's. Maybe this will help. I am out of time. Lot of luck, LK.

Have a great day everyone.

Experiencing weather us Floridians yearn for. With eight months of summer, it's nice to have a day below 80.

To each of you - have a lovely weekend.

Enjoyed the collective nouns, ap, but I don't think 'a mess of officers' is correct. An 'officer's mess' is where the officers EAT -- the mess hall. At least that's the term that's used in the US Navy. But a Baz of curmudgeons is definitely correct! ha ha!

LK from MN: I found the words but not sheet music.

There's a sign-up-for-news-site at

Good luck!

Morning, it is 25degC with a clear blue sky. No more rain and howling wind (hopefully) as I am off to a party tonight, the outdoors type with lots of mozzies. Have a great weekend wherever you are.

Ian: That would be sometime in the late 60'? Did't know we had an NDC in Kingston. Was it located on CFB Kingston or was it affliliated with the Royal Military Academy? Can't seem to find any history about it online, but I'm probably not looking in the right places.

LK FROM MN~
GOOD LUCK!
I became a little obsessed in my search for your music. I found that Chalkboards link was more accurate than mine.
I have to say, in doing this, I was able to hear the music on a sample from AMAZON, and also read the lyrics! Sounds like a good More...

Oh my!!!!! Had a disaster Thursday night with a hair colour. Decided I had been brunette long enough and thought I'd go back to blonde. Did it myself .....hhhhhmmmm...ended up looking like a tabby cat orange and white. Thank goodness I wear a cap to work and I could get into the More...

anew, thank you and I feel the same way, I can't believe that there isn't 1 piece of sheet music for this song, it is starting to become a mission for me too. I even had some friends of mine that own a music store look through their conncections and they can't find it either

I have the firm belief that sudokuists can do anything!

Almost FORGOT~

For those who may be interested in reading the lyrics to I COULD WRITE BOOKS, I copied and pasted it here: (It's a good song, check it out)

LKin MN: Might I suggest you contact one of the production companies that has done the musical. I have done this in the past trying to find sheet music for my daughter. You might try http://www.amasmusical.org/ as they have done a production of the show.

Good Maen to all in Sudoko land. Love the collective nouns, although I have never heard of a flick of cows, we call them a herd or a mob of cattle.
 |  |
That is the song anew! it is a great song and I suppose she could do it acapella but the music helps set the mood.
 |  |
LK FROM MN~
I'm in total agreement!
My search may even cross from internet to in-person!
I believe, it should at least be available to be ORDERED from a music store, but there is that slight possibility that HE never produced his sheet music. IF SO~ I have it in mind to CONTACT him..:)
Anyway, now i'm really going..
Talk to you later!
 |  |
Just for fun, a flight of fancies.
 |  |
Greg, great idea, I just went to the site and sent a request to them. HOpe I get a reply, thank you

anew, not available through a store as far as I have been able to find. but never thought about trying to contact him, I have had his name for quite a while. should have thought of that, thanks again for all the help

Time for me to close up the office and get ready for the Dierks Bently, Miranda Lambert concert tonight!

Have a good weekend everybody and I will check for more ideas and let you know how I fare with what I have done so far!

Greg, neither, it was at Fort Frontenac. As I said, it was closed down some years ago because I suspect that your government discovered how much it was costing. It was the senior military course in your country and the symbol ndc(c) was awarded on completion. But this is probably not the place to More...

Good Morning! It's November 18. November 18 is the 322nd day of the year (323rd in leap years) in the Gregorian Calendar. There are 43 days remaining. On this day in 2001 the Nintendo GameCube was released and in 1978 the Blues Brothers appeared for the first time on Saturday Night Live. If you're a fan go to http://www.bluesbrotherscentral.com/

... and have a great day.

Greg, I've just read again your earlier comment where you asked if I attended in the 60's. I might be creaking at the joints a little but I'm not THAT old. It was in 1982-3.
 |  |
Ian: I was thinking of the NATO National Defense Centre (NDC), and not being of military background, I thought that was what you were talking about. And attending a course there in the late 60's (it closed in 1971 I think) would not make you a
