Haven't seen snow up close in sooooo long that I've forgotten what it's like! Winter only means and no shorts, break out the sweaters.

I have just talked to my son and they are about 400 miles away. Because of icy roads they have decided to stop for the night and continue on in the morning. My tree is safe for one more night!

Sorry I'm not here much of late.
I'm a tad busy with preparing for Christmas.
I am moving slowly these days. What used to take 10 minutes takes more like an hour. Creaking joints and feeling tired!
I enjoy the read when I can get here, and I'll post when something occurs to me.

Gail, I can also remember a huge hail storm one Xmas when we lived up in the New England, I was thinking '94, no electricity until after 2.00 pm, so Xmas luch was ham sandwiches!!!

Good Morning Kate & Gail and I suppose good, very late afternoon Sue. Beautiful morning in Hobart. It's about time summer arrived. The air pump was on heat last night and now it's on cool.

Watched the Blackadder Christmas collation on pay last night and there was a lot of bah and humbug on that too.

We better have a barbeque tonight because there aren't that many evenings in Hobart when I'm prepared to go outside to cook. Looks as though it will be warm enough tonight.
