a roaring fire? I'm jealous!
tho' I do get a reunion in Jackson Hole with sisters starting next weds.
we were shopping at esco home depot today, reminded of how much warmer your city is...
dinner's in the oven and my ever-lovin' is still cookin' for me.
BTW, you're awfully frisky in today's posts. or kelloggs. too cute!
 |  |
Nice to catch you online, NAN! Yep, frisky is my middle name! We WILL have to get together this Fall. Hike? Kayak? Lunch? You name it! Ain't retirement great?
 |  |
I've always loved a good BBQ.
 |  |
JUDY(San Diego): send some of that heat from the roaring fire here please.....it's cold, I'm cold..
 |  |
On its way, ROLA! Watch for the very hot Fed Ex package! You'll be toasty in no time!
 |  |
& about the spelling thing. It was never easy for me, but 33 years of proofreading kept it at an acceptable level. The longer I'm retired, the more downhill my spelling skills go, and, it doesn't bother me a bit.
 |  |
JUDY thanks, was just outside hanging out the washing, it's nippy out there......
As for the Homemade Cookies - yes please, we have the 'cookie monster' living here (son no2).......
 |  |
MICKEY thinking of you today, best wishes, you'll have that baby snuggled in your arms in no time.
 |  |
Just kidding. KEITH. That is the first time I have ever made note of anyone's spelling. I just thought it was funny that my two favorite guys spelled the word the same way, and with the 'u' so often added in Australian spellings. I'll make fun WITH you, my friend, but I will never make fun OF you!
 |  |
had to catch up with yesterday's comments, try to figure who's where and who's had a baby - or not. I too am one of 4 sisters, but I'm #3 and I didn't just try harder (that's #2) - I did better! That's why I'm retired b4 they are. Of course, marrying the right guy (32 years now, jokes More...

do you hike too? we love Daley ranch, Blue Sky and Sycamore Canyon in Poway. But lunch sounds like fun. Put it in your day planner for October!

Dunkin' Donuts Coffee Contest

A blonde goes into a coffee shop and notices there's a 'peel and win' sticker on her coffee cup.

So she peels it off and starts screaming, 'I've won a motorhome! I've won a motorhome!'

The waitress says, 'That's impossible. The biggest More...

Judy, I didn't take offense. I was just putting it out there that spelling is no longer important to me. Now, if I can just convince myself of that. Old habits die hard.
 |  |
Hehe. Sorry Ed...made you look bad.
 |  |
Good luck Mickey - told you the 21st looked good!
 |  |
All is forgiven, guys. You are the best!
 |  |
Thinking of you Mickey with best wishes!!!
 |  |
Does anyone have a transcript of Gilda Radner's 'Eagle Rights Amendment' skit? Please send ASAP!
 |  |
NAN: Yes, we hike daily up here, and probably twice a week at home. We like Daley Ranch, too, but we don't do it in the summer ... too many snattlerakes! We have two Ocean Kayaks, and that is fun, too. Your trip sounds fabulous! MY babies were 9' and 10'4', but 11'3' -- yikes!
 |  |
KEITH: Liked the joke! My son is blond, but fortunately he is not ditsy!
 |  |
Hey, ED. It is so good to 'hear your voice' again. I miss you when you're not posting. Happier days for you?
 |  |
Keith, Great joke, and I'm more than capable of looking bad on my own.

Mickey, Thinking of you.

I sick of you retirees rubbing it in. Cease.

6:17 *hey im in 7th grade*
 |  |
Judy, Days are the same, but worse if I don't comment now and than. I had the six fairly good weeks than four bad ones. Everyone tells me it takes time. I hope Jane is ok.
 |  |
Ed: Aren't they all snug in their retirements?
You and I must be the youngest of the bunch since we are hard at work. (Let's see who's laughing now. )

Ok. Bob from Joe is in 7th grade. He wins!
 |  |
OK, ED, I'll stop talking about being retired. I'll even try to do a little labor of some kind ... tomorrow ... maybe ... if there is nothing more fun to do ... LOL
 |  |
Mickey - Good luck luvvie, I sincerely hope that my 10lb prediction doesn't come true!

Ed - big hug!
 |  |
KIM fl: those frozen life marinated chickens!!!! are back in your freezer.....we almost had a riot here yesterday afternoon......
everything was happy, they were excited about having a sauna in the oven, after bath-ing in the marinate for hours
then they discovered the eggs were boiling on More...

ED: It was very thoughtful and courageous of you to try and comfort Jane. Stay in touch with your sudoku buddies ... you can depend on us.

NAL: Did you mean 'snug' or 'smug'?? Either way ... neener, neener! :)
 |  |
Judy From San Diego - lol - one day it will be my turn.

Billy; If your prediction comes true you better hide!
 |  |
You are too funny, ROLA! Loved your tale! LOL
 |  |
Hi at work, just passing some time.
 |  |

Snug: Affording pleasurable ease: comfortable, cozy, easeful, easy. comfy.
Smug: Exhibiting or feeling great or offensive satisfaction with oneself or with one's situation; self-righteously complacent.

Pick one. Either one! lol
