Thanks for telling me about your beautiful county. Can't believe you even spotted my question - there are SO many comments to read I only have time to skim some days. Only place I've seen in England is London - think I would enjoy the countryside more. I'm going to study my map & plot out a future trip. Hope I live long enought to see all the places I dream of visiting.

I loved HH's description of her surroundings - just the mention of moors took me right back to Enid Blyton books - my very favourite childhood books. Anyone else remember the secret 7, famous 5, magic faraway tree with its changing lands, mr saucepan etc?

2:59 - with Christmas fast approaching, sudoku doesn't happen every morning. Made time today, though, while watching a beautiful sunrise. Life is good.

Caffeine helps a lot in waking me up, but has the unfortunate side effect of exacerbating my generalized anxiety. Oh well, trade offs...
