FLOSS: In the event Maggie is not on site tonight, the Rock is Newfondland, Canada's eastern most province. You and Maggie are slighty more than 8 kms apart, but were all neighbours!
 |  |
Nurn: You are popular tonight. Wow, maybe we should mark this one down for future reference. Want me to report it or will you?

Dunno Greg, maybe they think I'm a macho gamer man? Or a Nurd?

(You know what I meant, I'm sure!)

Don't worry. The mighty Gath will prevail, either that or we'll sic Baz on them!

Hi Everyone,

Hmmm, they seem to have gone. I'll hold off for a bit before deleting everything.

Gath

Thanks, Greg, think I'll just head for my bed now and wonder all about it in the morning. Night!

Thanks Gath.

Great day!

Lindy, how did I know you'd say that? Now you miss out on my latest discovery. Jen's handmade coffee pecan bikkies (from Cleveland). No chocolate in them, but with these you don't need it. I will savour every crumb while I think of you missing out.

I live in North Pole Ak. Where it's Christmas year round. Santa lives down the road and I visit him often to have cookies and milk with him and Mrs. Claus.

It's Sinterklaas.
In mid-November Dutch television broadcasts the official arrival of St. Nicholas and his helper Zwarte Piet live to the nation. Coming by steamer from Spain, each year they dock in the harbor of a different city or village. Wearing traditional bishop's robes, Sinterklaas More...

I've grown up with Sinterklaas, he comes visits us here in Perth as well.
The Dutch Society puts on Sinterklass every year, for little dutch girls and boys can sit on his knee, and receive gifts, or if you have been naughty, Swarte Piet will take you away in his sack.
I still have to sing More...

During the big war a U.S. soldier was passing through a small town in England when he decided to visit the local pub. There he met an attractive woman and she invited him to her place for the evening. She made him a nice romantic dinner, then a nice warm bath. She dried him with a soft towel which More...

Three little ducks go into a Bar..............................

'Say, what's your name?' the bartender asked the first duck.
'Huey,' was the reply.
'How's your day been, Huey?'
'Great. Lovely day. Had a ball. Been in and out of puddles all day.
What else could a duck want?' More...

Rola - I enjoyed reading about your Sinterklaas story in the Netherlands. Nice that you still keep up with the same celebrations. It's amazing what we can learn from this site.
 |  |
Susan, Thanks so much for the updated birthday list. You who are so organized really do a real service for those of us who enjoy being in the know, but just can't seem to get it together. Thanks to many wonderful folks!
 |  |
Rola. Your telling us about Sinterklaas was really special. Its so nice to learn of the customs that are carried out in other countries that can be shared if we want to add an international touch to our celebrations. It could also help alleviate some of the pain or annoyance that is wrought from the far too early decorations in our shopping centers.

Kathy-don't know ay Ogburn's. My husband knows a Tony Ogburn. Celia, glad to hear from you. I've come to realize that the world is indeed a small place.
I've lived in the South for over 30 yrs, 24 in SC, and I've only been to Savannah twice. It's really quite charming. There was a series of More...

MAMACITA 2 - sorry, I made a mistake the other day when I gave someone Joe B from Ontario's birthdate. It's the 11 February, not 9th as I was guessing at the time.
 |  |
OK, added him Anne - any sign of your new clients yet?
 |  |
Hello Susan - no, I don't think they will be coming to the west for a couple of months, I believe. If they do come in, I will certainly let them know of you, as you suggested.
That's the trouble with only working 3 days a week, I'm not always there when people come in.

1:23...I think something was wrong with the timer. It seemed to be moving in slow mo. I don't think that was really my time. But...who am I to doubt. Way to go!

2.10 - I'm a bit perplexed at the negative comments about today's pic, all I saw a man getting into the Xmas spirit and having a bit of fun.

Alene congrats on the birth of your 1st grandchild, be sure to submit a photo on parents' page.

Thanks, Rola, for the Sinterklaas story. It would be interesting to learn of other Christmas traditions that people have maintained. They remind us that Christmas wasn't always a shopping and eating frenzy, fuelled by retailers.

Thats not santa... jeez...
 |  |
Hey, Susan - my birthday is July 1st. Quick post only, heading to work!
 |  |
Thanks Anne, Correction noted. Judy/ Bendigo you are right on about the different Christmas traditions, rather than the shopping and eating frenzy. Altho, I don't really have a problem with the eating other than the weight gain...lol

I did not get your joke.... about the US soldier in UK. Please explain the punch line although I know it will not be funny if you do, but at least, I will know a new way to laugh (for next time)....

It hurts me a lot, but I'm trying to see if the Cowboys can beat the Giants tonight to help the Eagles. I hate being placed in this position just because of the dumb plays of the Eagles... Ed what should I do? To make things worst, I have to go to Happy Valley for a meeting next week, and More...

I just realized that I read the joke too fast.......... Thanks to all who will explain this joke to my lazy eyes....

Feeling quite proud of myself. First time I have managed under 5 minutes @ 4.52, and without checking. Do you think we will ever have decent rain again in NSW? The grass is so crunchy underfoot.

Bit early for st nick yet.

Susan, I doubt Harley will appreciate the implication he was born in 45. Actually, I'm not too thrilled about it myself, but not much I can do now. Also, you should add Oct. 13, Paul (aka Spellmaster). Nice work.
