I have tooth ache. Something my parents never had at my age 'cos their teeth were long gone. Dentist says he can see me Friday afternoon. I'd better get to the pharmacy and stock up on analgesics

Last time this tooth gave me trouble we were in Pahia, North Island, NZ. Found a lovely man who treated me over the course of three days and was the cheapest dentist I'd ever been to. Even our views over the Bay of Islands couldn't calm the pain.

Doesn't that always happen, Mo? Needing a doctor or a dentist when in another country. I got sick in Switzerland and had to find an English speaking doctor. My brother needed a dentist on the island of Ithaki in Greece - he says that even the glorious views over the Mediterranean didn't ease his pain either.
