I always dance on Xmas day too. Sorry I'm a day late wishing all you Aussie's, Merry Christmas. It has something to do with my location on mother Earth. Merry Christmas to the rest of the world and my fellow Yanks too.

2:48, Merry Xmas (still is in CO, not even noon yet)will be at friends having rib roast, mashed potatoes and sundry stuff, and of course the eggnogg (friend put small icecream maker outside last night to get freezy enough to turn some of the eggnog into icecream)(even now, at at 10:40 am, is 15 degrees F outside, cold enough to make ice-cream without using a freezer or ice)

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, got my wish. We have about 8 inches with drifts upto 24 inches. Had a late brunch, playing games and watching movies. Dinner will be much later this evening. I really think it is nap time.
Hope everyone is enjoying or has enjoyed their Christmas.

One afternoon, a man went to his doctor and told him that he hasn’t been feeling well lately. The doctor examined the man, left the room, and came back with three different bottles of pills.
The doctor said, “Take the green pill with a big glass of water when you wake up. Take the blue pill More...

No snow in Montreal? Canada? Please excuse my geographic ignorance of northern America (the continent) but how can Texas have (left-over) snow and not part of Canada? I am confused.

Morning, rain's mostly stopped but it is cool. I slept fairly late, and now need to go and shower as we are joining the daughters, one SIL and the grandsons to see the movie "Where The Wild Things Are".
Merry Christmas to those celebrating today!

P.S. The Christmas Menus sound delicious! After reading about Grand Mariner French toast I had to go and get my much more staid breakfast (muesli). For some reason I can't get the though out of my head, though!

Ray Ray's dinner and Gannie Mo's too sound terrific! We did have a More...

Kate - the recipe for Grand Marnier French Toast is on page 20 in the cookbook. I make it often because it's a "prep and freeze" recipe. I do 3 or 4 batches at a time and freeze them. Then when I want to splurge at breakfast time, I take out three or four pieces, brush them with melted butter and pop them in the oven for about 15 minutes.

Christmas dinner is going to have to be a salad to make up for the humongous brunch I ate!!! Funny when you're talking with family members, you don't realize how much you stuffed your face until you're ready to leave. Groan

Daughter and her hubby left for home this afternoon, we had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner at my cousin's and then off to Cantata and Midnight Mass. Kate / Sydney -- you are correct in your geography -- we would expect it to be snowy and cold up north in Canada, not down south in Texas! Must be that global warming messing things up!

When I put out a fruit mince pie and a snifter of Baileys for Santa, my youngest (15) and hubby looked at me with derision and said 'You know you are only doing this for your own benefit'...

I still believe in the magic even if they don't

I find I am enjoying the kiddo's new DS as much as her! Fortunately she is willing to share (maybe because Santa brought quite a variety of stuff) - and maybe because I am earning her hint points .

P.S. Call me Kate / Ku-ring-gai or you'll mix me up with the Kate / Sydney who signs her photos that way! I never sign my photos.

Oh, my worldly friends. I cannot express what a wonderful day this was. We did learn, it is not wise to fall asleep, while your 3 year old is still running wild. It is just not a good idea.

Not sure that I liked the movie "Where The Wild Things Are". Technically brilliant, but I don't know if kids will get its message, and I was uncomfortable in the scenes where Max and the Wild Things pick teams, and throw dirt at each other.
