all. Our 90° chance of rain/snow hasn't arrived yet only a good 12 hours late. However, it looks like it will hit any time now, since I'm leaving for church in 2 hours.

Water - Water everywhere & not a sip to drink. That is what a flood becomes. Good photo. Step up and take credit.

3:08 Hi to all. Appy I do that every day

Thought for the Day:

Venice ........ Canada?

Southern California had heavy rains yesterday, and while there may have been some damage "up north," San Diego County fared pretty well. As soon as the wild fires ceased, long "snakes" of rolled straw were placed on all burned hillsides and in More...

Super munchies and great music over at Eve's!
I am continuing the decorating today. Family room fireplace mantle is on the agenda. It occurs to me that having one of those pre-lighted artificial garlands would be the way to go...next year for sure. Tomorrow we are trooping out to find a tree. HoHoHo!
03/Dec/07 3:28 AM

I'm happy to hear there were no mudslides, Judy! I had not heard of the "snakes" of rolled straw, what a very good idea! My BIL lives in San Diego and he hadn't mentioned it. Leave it to a fellow Sudokuist to keep me informed! Thanks!

ap - loved the diet! Now if I could just really stick to it.
03/Dec/07 3:36 AM
 |  |

Judy - glad to hear that you are AGAIN surviving.
03/Dec/07 3:37 AM
 |  |
Thanks, Kathy and Jamie. Yeah, I'm pretty resilient, but I'm not sure how well I'm going to survive another brutal San Diego Winter of sunshine and nighttime temperatures way down in the 50's! I'm with Dave from Arizona and Jane from Florida on this one ... shorts year-round, maybe switching to capris when it gets really cold! :)
03/Dec/07 3:45 AM

Don't forget your Crocs, Judy!
03/Dec/07 3:51 AM
 |  |

Okay, Judy - rub it in! Maybe you have earned this "winter".
03/Dec/07 3:54 AM
 |  |

As Jane from Not Quite Florida would say: A cold day here is when I have to wear sox with crox.
03/Dec/07 3:54 AM
 |  |

I'll be playing tennis today - in shorts - since it's going to be mid-70s. I do wear warm-ups when it gets below 40, but we play tennis outdoors year around here.
03/Dec/07 3:56 AM
 |  |
Not sure why I do that, Jane! Isn't Georgia a suburb of Florida? :) No socks in MY crocs ... only wear 'em in the summer! No derision of socks with crocs from here ... but, Jane, I DO have to wonder why you were considering wearing your WHITE ones after Labor Day ... tut, tut!
