JUDY - Actually, I am trying not to get too used to the silence - TWO kids moving back in by the end of summer! MIL still doing relatively well - I will tell more after I visit her tomorrow for Mother's Day (Jeanie is on a trip to West Texas until Wednesday).
CG - yes, Gus is out of the tree - just been too hectic to update his picture - hopefully soon!

Canuk Greg - Steve Yzerman is a favorite around here! I was fortunate enough to see the Stanley Cup in person a few years ago here locally. It was very exciting! My neice was with me, so of course, I had to take her picture! Her dad is an avid Red Wings fan.

Glenn/Winter Springs - I bet it is good to have Robyn home!

I have just visited nal's site on Flickr. Her latest photos are superb. I went through about 5 pages of new ones, every one a winner.

I don't like the shaky ad's. I had to crop the page so I won't get a migraine. I know the advertisment is necessary, but I refuse to click on any ad that shakes or flashes.

To Fiona from France. Voting in Scotland? I'm not very clear as I live in a community in the borders 15 miles from a paper shop! A friend had bought a paper,(but wouldn't hand it over) told me that Labour had lost seats and thereby lost control, mostly to Scottish Nationalist Party. But as he is fervent SNP I am sure there were also unmentioned gains by Liberal. He said no Tory gains.

Is anybody watching the Kentucky Derby now?? I'm not a gambler, but I love to watch the beautiful horses & beautiful people there!! Lots of celebrities there this year -including Queen Elizabeth & Michael Jordan!

Hi Kathy:
I just turned it on. Race starts in about 1/2 hour. Saw Queen Elizabeth. They say she's quite the racing fan. She's been in my neck of the woods (Williamsburg and Jamestown are just a couple hours away) and will be coming to Washington DC tomorrow. We'll have lots of TV coverage, I'm sure.
