3:08 Maen. Looks like a cool place... where is it?

I have been playing for a while but this is my first time to comment. I enjoy the pictures, but they all should identify the place.

This is one of Ian's I'm sure. The three sisters Katoomba. Its where I discovered not to look down it makes me sick, had never had it happen before I went there.

an architectural eyesore in a beautiful landscape

The photo is of the 'Three Sisters' in the Blue Mountains, near Sydney.

Looks like the 3 Sisters in the Blue Mountains just west of Sydney

4:21, Maen, I was going to say, this looks like the Three Sisters in the Blue Mountains but I don't want to be repetitious. Beutiful area. I took the bus tour summer of 2003 through the area and took over 300 pictures, I love digital cameras.

mAeN! 6:14 Do the rocks look like ugly trolls to anyone else, or is it my turn to have too much imagination??

Oh! Thanks for the explanation, Donn, Deb & Bill!

Thankyou James. I loved the photo and really wanted to know where it was. 4.31 at 8:16am Oklahoma time. Have a blessed day.

'Have a look and get a wonderful picture of this very beautiful view from this height.'

Have a nice mAen to all.

I agree corky, but no one is willing to take responsibily for housing a feeding all the architects and engineers in a single isolated compound.
 |  |
We love you.

WAGDY: I agree with ''Other Sudokuists.'' You are a very special part of this site. You have shared your former profession with us, but can you tell us about your family? At least one of your children lives far away. Do you have family with you there in Cairo, too?

I think that platform must have been built after 1973.

If you use Google Earth or other Internet world sites, you can go to 33°43'45.04'S 150°18'22.99'E to find The Three Sisters. In Google Earth some of the pictures are clearer than others, this are is not clear to show exactly where you are. I was on a bus so I couldn't tell you exactly which mountain to look at, but this gives you the area.

quite a view
Maen all
 |  |

Beautiful sight! If I were there, I'd be one of the people in the center. I couldn't do what the fellow in the white sweater on the right is doing.

Wagdy, I don't do these puzzles every day -- I missed learning what your former occupation was. Please tell us again. Thanks.

5:40. Maen to all.

Maen all - missed yesterday - busy in the groves. 76 and sunny - need some rain.

6:04 I've made the acquaintance of the Three Sisters and standing too close to the railing gave me a serious case of the willies. Looking straight out is quite spectacular, though.

5:42 Hi to all and have a good weekend. Is there a story about why they are named the Three Sisters?
 |  |
Welcome, Garry from Simcoe!
 |  |
From my memories of the spot there is also a very steep railway carriage to take you to the bottom - am I in the right spot?
 |  |
Gorgeous spot!
 |  |
4:34 Beutiful view. I will be there .... some day.
 |  |
4:53; breathtaking view, would love to experience it first-hand.

Aboriginal legend has it that they were three beautiful young women that had fallen in love with three men from the foot hills. Tribal lore prohibited the union and a battle followed. The local witchdoctor turned the women to stone to prevent them coming to harm. He was killed in the battle and no More...

Thanks June a wonderful insight.

June - Thanks for sharing that with us. How interesting.

Garry from Simcoe, Ontarios - Welcome to this site and please come back again.

The lookout where the people are standing is called Echo Point. Nowdays there are too many tourists but once you could stand there and yell COOOEEEE and hear it echo around the valley. On a quiet day you could hear the voices of the people walking in the vattey bellow.
 |  |
June, thanks for sharing the legend, makes it all the more interesting.
