2:47 Maen! Nice little street -- Ireland? Could not input my comments until I refreshed the screen (same on Easy today) -- is there a problem?

Looks like a recycled photo. It's a pleasant scene, but somewhat disappointing to have a repeat.

5:48 Looks very much like an English villiage street.
Having trouble trying to place a cursor in comments without first inserting smilie - any tips?

Mmm, my first thought was Ireland too- or somewhere in the Britain. Maybe Tobermory on Mull in Scotland- I've only seen that village from a ferry (so it's a bit of a wild guess) but they do have some colourful tall old buildings???

I filled in comments before being ablt to fill out my name.

4:52 and a pretty street scene. There's got to be a pub along there somewhere ...

Maen all - hope you are all well. Not from Florida that I am sure, no hills here, just flat with sand. Looks like rain today, in the high 80's.

I think we've seen this shot before, but my senile mind could be wrong! :) It's still a great shot.

6:16 I'm sure this is one of Ian's. Is it Killarney or in England.

Reminds me of our Rainbow Rd here in Charleston--it was based on a similar stretch of road in England.

Interesting - reminded me of San Francisco. narrow streets, hills, colorful bldgs. one of my favorite places

This reminds me of a street in Burlington, Vermont.

shruti: Funny, I assumed that O2 was an oxygen bar. Wonder if I'm right, or if that's only a big city thing.

It is a street in Enniscorthy, Southern Ireland. I feel that I should apologise for it turning up again - according to my records it has already appeared twice. But why should I apologise, all I did was take the photo? Besides, it is a photo of a pretty Irish street and it brings back happy memories of our visit a few years ago.

My only crime was forgetting to give it a title when I submitted it. Sorry. I seem to remember that the 'O2' sign referred to a mobile phone network.

Ian, I think it is a beautiful photo of a place I may never have the chance to visit. I enjoy seeing all the photos from all over the world. When my kids are with me it gives us a good chance to discuss geography.

Ian,
What I really enjoy is everyone elses' guesses of where this street is, or the places it reminds us of. Makes the world seem a bit smaller, in a way.

5:40 with an interruption. Lovely photo..those sort of places intrigue me. THey have a certain charm about them. I guess I am so used to lots of space. I notice these shops have no awning, no footpath. We are used to wide streets and wide covered footpaths. Thanks Ian and all other photo submitters (is that a real word?)for sharing the world with us so we can see how others live.

Repeat! A lovely picture but there are pictures that haven't been seen yet. Several from Jenolan Caves (though we have also seen quite a few I admit) but none of the Sydney Chinese New Year Parade that I sent in (and I am sure I've checked daily - even caught up on Easter!)

Kate, there seems to be some sort of randomness about the photos. I am beginning to see some that I posted last year and had given up for lost. It must be an awful job trying to sift through alI the photos that have been submitted. I think the message is - be patient.

It makes a great jigsaw both times around! Thanks Ian.

I always thought the photos were in some randomised file? I am no longer sure they all come out once they've been used though ...
