maen all! where in the world is matt lauer? the gal and i bused over and did a christmas walk-about on x-mas day...the tree was relatively small this year. the city is nice and empty that day except for the tree area and st. pat's...great time was had...new years eve is a zoo anymore with all the rules ans security so we haven't gone in a long time.

4:30, hi all. A nice warm day here - it reached over 39C (nearly 103F), following on from two days of temperatures over the century (F) mark. We're not faring as badly as some of the poor folk in Victoria though - I wish all those in the path of bushfires a speedy and safe exit from the area.
