mAen all - late start, taking care of a wee one. The last stone horse I saw was at the Crazy Horse Memorial in South Dakota. Still no rain - 82 and warm today.

Hi all. Great photo I must get up to Broken Hill to have a look at this. Had a bit of rain this morning not enough to any good but it smells nice and fresh out there.

The photo is one of the sculptures created by a group of international artists who stayed in the desert outside of Broken Hill, outback NSW, Australia. It's an inspiring place. Glad the photo has given some enjoyment to you.

nice sculpture, which desert anyone?

Wow Axel, it's called The Living Desert Reserve, 8km from Broken Hill. In 1993 a team of sculptors from Syria, Damascus, Georgia (part of the former Soviet Republic), Mexico and Australia, carved 12 sculptures from 52 tonnes of sandstone transported from Wilcannia, about 240km away. The result is awesome.
(Broken Hill is about 1000km west of Sydney.)
