Hi Everyone,

I've taken the plunge and joined Steve as a blogger. More of a 'how to make a living on the net' and 'what I'm up to' blog, hopefully you'll find it interesting.

5:36 and a great trio of felines. It's freezing cold here, and windy. Supposedly another storm brewing--could be one more ski day left in me after all.

Maen! Those indoor cats look too well fed to be interested in doing more than watching the outdoor sights,

Expecting a fair amount of snow here, but so far only a few flakes. I'm glad I got to pick a few snowdrops before they get covered up again.

For CATHY in S. O and CHRIS in Mass:
I hope your bad weather is soon to be gone to replaced by a beautiful Spring. In Bahrain the weather has warmed up several degrees in just a couple of days; bad, as it means we are headed into the HOT season. Yesterday the sky was grey, but not with More...

It is snowing here today! School was closed this morning, so I have all the kids home, and my husband too; not sure which is worse!

The picture makes me miss my black cats.

LORRA from Bahrain, I'd rather deal with snowstorms than sandstorms -- sounds awful! What is it like in Bahrain, when the sand is not blowing around?

CHRIS from MASS:
Bahrain is essentially 2-1/2 seasons; HOT, HOT summers and fall, which can, at times, be quite humid (105-110 F with 75-90+% humidity; and cool (usually nice) winters, but rarely lower than 40's or low 50's at night and 50's to low 60's in the day; and 'other'- beautiful sunny More...

All well and good, but the bird is not the one behind the glass. Kinda hard for a bird to thumb its nose, but I bet it would like to.

Snow, rain and sleet have reminded us in this area, its still winter...at least for a few more days on the calendar. Lorra/Bahrain: What an interesting response to an ordinary question. You presented such a wonderful visual even without the pictures. I really enjoyed reading it.

Enjoyed the weather report from Bahrain. I have been spoiled for the past 20 years with perfect weather in California, but now we are beginning to have summers that are too hot. I don't like it when the temperature rises over 100 degrees F. Already here it is 80 degrees so I fear we have a hot More...

4:12 - the shamrocks were enough to negate the 3 black cats. Thanks Gath!
Lorra - I'm not good at converting degrees F to Celcius, but your climate sounds very warm and certainly different to anything I've ever experienced. Can't say I'd like to be out in one of your storms -

It's starting to snow white and pinkish white petals here. It will soon be confetti covering the streets and sidewalks.
