Hilly..! Very well, thanks. Yes, PCY has already arrived in Germany to a snowy welcome and hopes for a white Xmas, which she has never experienced. I have 3 weeks of peace and quiet with no plans. I have an invitation from friends for Xmas day otherwise alone apart from the other two females in the house, both feline.
Hoping for good fishing weather!

Paul - promise not to! My eldest sister (who sadly died 10 years ago) was Pauline, always k?a Paulie - so for me, it only ever means her. So what will you do apart from fish in these 3 weeks?

Hillie..I'll probably do a lot of lurking and scuttling. (lol) Other than that, the list on the fridge should keep me out of trouble for a few days. Maybe some woodwork - I want to make a hallstand and a set of chair side tables. The timber I mostly use is Tasmanian Oak, which is actually a eucalypt (gum tree). I don't know if it will google under that name.
