I probably will slow the pace of blog pages soon.

Nevertheless, today's tough puzzle is blogged.

9:08 very slow. Is this photo taken in Ireland, maybe Glendalough (I think it's called). It's sure to be one of Ian's photos.

wonder whose hands fashioned them? timeless, weathered, if they could talk. 70's today - with blue sky and very windy. Great to be outside.

A lackadaisical 7:04 but a wonderful photograph of the two crosses. Applause to the photographer.

Maen all. If that is an Ian photo, thank you Ian for so many wonderful images. Ireland?
And again, thanks so much Steve for your blog. Please don't even think of taking it down. Heavy commitments right now, haven't had the chance to study your suggestions.

everyone. This is such an interesting picture--sets my little mind to working. Don't mean to invite controversy, but maybe it's appropriate for Iraq'a New Year today (3/21 here).
Have a peaceful day/night filled with happiness.

Anne, you should be a clairvoyant. It was a photo taken during our visit to Glendalough, a fascinating, ancient monastry.

Sorry, I should have added - in Ireland.

Very striking and beautiful! A good site for a monastery...or anyone contemplating the mystery of life.

Good afternoon to all! I really like this picture. I think I commented on it a long time ago on your Flickr page Ian. Thanks!

A terrific jigsaw! You don't realise how much space the centre framed cross actually takes up!

5:01 Very good picture, Ian.

Ian, the reason I thought it was Glendalough is because I visited there about 5-6 years ago and it just looked familiar. I couldn't remember seeing it on your flickr page.
22/Mar/07 2:31 PM

Very artistic photo Ian. Interesting that you chose to focus on the frame (foreground cross) rather than the subject (cross in the distance). Is this perhaps symbolic of the religous beliefs of the time?
22/Mar/07 2:58 PM
 |  |

Dave, please don't read too much into it.

Anne, it's there - Greg remembers it.
Hey, what a fasinating place that was, positively creaking with history.

Hello Ian
I thought it was a fascinating place also and have a couple of lovely photos from the place, but not digital ones.
The reason I couldn't remember the photo from flickr is because you have so many lovely photos I couldn't possibly remember them all. It must be an 'age' thingy.

Cut it out Anne, you old flatterer you.
22/Mar/07 5:40 PM

Interesting photo Ian, I have done a jigsaw puzzle with these crosses in the foreground it's still here somewhere .

4:26 Very quick - even with a stinky baby distracting me every time she came near. Off to change a nappy - lucky me!
22/Mar/07 6:11 PM
 |  |
Hey, Ian, who are you calling old!!!
A flatterer I may be, BUT old, not me!! (YET)
22/Mar/07 6:27 PM
 |  |

Anne, it was you who introduced the 'age thingy' notion. Anyhow, you've got a few years to go before you catch me young lady.
(Is that better?)
22/Mar/07 7:23 PM
 |  |

Far better, thanks Ian.

P.S. I know I did!!
