I was convinced it was a daffodil as it was coming out! Very artistic.

Americans on the Internet should remember, though, that American special days are not universal special days and they shouldn't expect everyone to observe them. Different countries have different days for and ways of remembering their war casualties. How dull it would be if every country was the same!
