Arene - back in my Indiana home - my mother use to use 'up-chuck'. she was born in 1914, so I assume that is the term her mother used.

A Japanese language teacher, while explaining the verb ending -masu, told us that to throw up subsequently became known in Japan as bushimasu. Your daughter sounds very cool.
