OK, mushroom fanciers... are these edible?

maen all! look like shiitake family. possibly edible. boil them with gold ring. if green scum appears on ring they're poisonous. this is just an old wives tale that many europeans,my mom included, swear by. i just go to the store except for morels in the spring wet season.

Heidi, I thought they looked like baby turtles at first also - I'm not fond of mushrooms - where is an old Clint Eastwood movie where some
young southern bells poison him with mushrooms and he dies -- never fond of them since I watched that movie.

how do you even punch all the numbers in that fast? i was never stuck so i was feeling pretty good about my 15:10 until i read the comments. my aunt was a mushroom expert. vera mcknight. she wrote the book on mushroom identification, literally. if i knew the name i could look them up and let the omlette crowd know if they should indeed eat!

4.10 but I don't believe it. I glanced over at the time around 3 and a half minutes and decided I must have paused it or something as it wasn't moving, then it moved! So my 4.10 is a fake!!!!
