Good afternoon to all! Yes, this is one of the shots I submitted. We were about 2/3 of the way up to the top, a 20 km. (11 miles) along our drive, which took 45 minutes on a dirt logging road that had scary turns and was partially washed out in places. Youa cyually leave Canada, drive More...

Thanks for the wonderful photo. I have a yearn to travel, and Canada is definitely the top of my list. The splendour and variety make it truly fascinating. Please keep titillating us with photos that are NOT cats!

Beautiful photo, Canuk Greg. Scenery is even more breathtakinly rugged than the views I enjoyed on a 2004 tour of the Canadian Rockies.
My puzzle time was 8:45 without possibilities.

Massive scenery Greg. What time of the year was it taken? Summer I guess?

Corky: June of this year. Snow was still melting, hence the dirt road wash outs. The temperatures were in the 60 celcius range when we went up. Never saw anything as awesome in my life as the site at the top. A glacier at least 4 km. wide and extending over the mountain for at least 5 to 6 km. You'd have to be there!

When I visited cousins in BC 23 years ago, I was taken to a glacier not that far north from Vancouver. Do you know the name of the glacier/ glaciers near Vancouver? We had to hike in -but it wasn't too far.
