I hate all spiders in general .

Spiders eat uncountable tons of pest insects. Arachniphobia is an irrational fear of spiders, and like all phobias, does more harm than good. Reasonable respect is one thing (don't play with Black Widow Spiders) but killing spiders because you are neurotic is lunacy.

3:17 Nice symmetrical markings on that spider--never seen one like it. When I find a spider in the house, I guide it onto a sheet of paper and gently escort it outside. I'd never kill a spider, but centipedes are fair game, unfortunately for them.

Looks like a pretty skinny spider to me - hasn't had his daily ration of insects! I don't like spiders but they're OK as long they don't come inside my house. I have lots of geckos living under my shutters who are paid to take care of that! Geckos are not only friendly, but bring good luck - just ask AP!

mAen all. Lots of these spiders here in Florida. They love it in our citrus groves. Their webs are very artistic looking in the morning dew. Some of these spiders are larger than your hand. Not very itsy, bitsy.

The web isn't the typical spider web shape ... I don't see the spiral.

Jim from Jupiter, Living about an hour south of you I am familiar with spiders. Although I don't kill them, I prefer not to see them. I was once bitten on the leg by a spider. My whole leg ended up swelling. I have heard of other people having reactions similar to mine from spider bites. So, I am not neurotic. I just avoid spiders.

Jim from Jupiter - it's easy to become irrational in Florida about spiders - know three people from work who received 3-7 bites from brown recluse spiders within last 2 years. One fellow had one of his bites get infected & came very close to losing part leg muscles
