Publishing the proof for the very tough puzzle of February 20, 2007 wore me out. I fully intended to give the blogging a rest for a while.

Nevertheless, today's tough puzzle presented some fascinating loops that I could not resist telling you about.

mAen! 3:54. The famous opera house. I have to say I liked the night time shot better (if only because of the special illumination and effects).

4:45. yes the night shots are best, especially when you have the reflection in the water mirroring the structure.

I liked the shot with the pink glow a few weeks back. Someday I will see in person. Cool and dry today - send some rain. Had a 1,000 acre fire yesterday just a few miles up the road.

Will see it in a few months.

Wonderful picture of Sydney/Australia Opera house.I been there 3 times .I spent a very nice time in Australia .I miss it now .

maen all! i agree that the only view of the opera house should be from the harbor since it was designed to look like ships in full sail.

Good morning all. I agree that the photo of the pink Opera House is more attractive. But this is a photo taken from the other side which is less common - you can just see the Harbour Bridge in the background. It was taken from Man O' War Steps and yes Anne, it is the tradesmen's entrance.

The Opera House in Sydney is just beautiful--worth a very long trip from Eastern US. More striking than any picture can reveal. The inside is astounding but I donot think one is allowed to take pics. A tour reveals the very interesting history of More...

To JJ - Thanks for the info. It would be wonderful to travel to Australia some day. My husband has a cousin that lives over there. It would be fun to meet her. There was a picture recently with the Opera House lit up at night. It was quite breath taking.

Took me a few seconds to work out exactly where this was taken from. It's funny how you get so used to seeing things from one perspective. And yes, it is a great building from any angle!!

Geez those painters have done a good job. It was pink last I remember.

Who would have thought, two Dave's in Perth. Maybe he is knows Billy aka knob?

Of course that is not intended to a reflection on you Dave, we all know Dave's are good blokes!
