It's Remembrance Day today in Australia too. The tradition is that at 11.00 on the 11/11 everyone stops whatever they're doing and silently gives a minute's thought to the Diggers who lost their lives in WWl. Unfortunately these days people don't actually stop and reflect like they used to, but that's the way things are now.

We went to an Open House my DIL had today. She and a friend "Blow Glass." We were able to do a little Christmas Shopping! There were so many beautiful items to choose from.

Hi Jim, did say hello to a veteran with two deployments to Iraq and another looming ahead. Wasn't too happy about that since he is my son. But I'm grateful because this will be the first Christmas I'll get to see him in four years.
