Nope, Greg, Charter Schools are almost entirely publicly-funded. The money earmarked by State and Federal governments for each student goes to the Charter School rather than to the customary Public School ... which is an occasional point-of-contention for us Public School people! Reminds me of the early 80s when I lived in a nasty part of St. Louis, Missouri, and heard 11 gunshots fired in anger during a 13 month stay. I also got to see a man armed with a powered-on chainsaw chasing another man down the street, screaming "Come back here and fight like a man, you *&^%$!!!!"

Fiona - St. Simons Island is midway down Georgia's Atlantic coastline (most people don't even realize Georgia HAS a coastline).
