I have not watched any of the Olympics. Too much commercialism. The only sports I'm really and truly interested in are tennis and soccer, and they don't show an entire match (at least not on NBC, which is my only source of coverage). I am "anti" gymnastics because of the terrible More...

well the chinese gymnastic team looked like miniature models performing the act, and a bit awkward, in front of the well developed curvaceous women gymnasts of US!!!.. cheating on age seems to be more problem than the doping I presume..

i agree about tha gymnastics girls. it it very hard on young growing bodies. and yes, the olympics are very commercial. however, it is still the best of the best coming together peacefully in amazing good will and competition. also, these athletes have earned (for the most part) their places More...

PioneerLady, I can commiserate with you on that! My Flopsy (may he rest in peace) would chew the plastic molding between the floor and the wall of my classroom. Where he got to, we hid with furniture. And absolutely no one was allowed to take off their shoes!
