Greetings from gorgeous, sunny Orlando! It is going to warm up a bit later, but right now the windows and doors are open and there is a lovely breeze wafting through the house! Must enjoy it before the air conditioning kicks on!

Robyn is having a blast in Sydney with her sister! They were on a wine country tour today! Cairns later this week! I am so jealous!!

Good Maen friends!
Glen - what a lovely description of your breezy house this fine morn...and so glad Robyn is enjoying herself. Having had the experience myself, I am not surprised one bit. Best trip I ever took - not is it a stunning country to visit, the people (and Sudokufamily, especially) are the BEST!

You're welcome here, Rayray. I should be far enough away from that circus.

Not a real Royal Fan Rayray? It might be the day to go and see all those places that you'd like to see that are usually over run by tourists... take a lone walk along Brighton beach or maybe to stay home with a video and a good book.

Today's picture is really different from the norm here. It was a surprise when that little angel appeared!

Oh, it'll be on the TV, but that can be turned off.

Oh Heidi ! A place where the royal wedding will be turned off !
It sounds like heaven on earth !
I have nothing against the royals.
But I wish they would marry quietly.
17/Apr/11 1:25 AM
 |  |

They could have a quiet wedding - somewhere remote - say in the middle of the Sahara desert (Mmm! too many terrorists there for them ?) - well then - the Antarctic ice cap (plenty of penguins to parade and they could have a sleigh-drawn carriage)

The republicans want street parties as demonstrations.
All for it.
Do a police swoop and arrest them all for treason. Perfect opportunity.
17/Apr/11 1:30 AM
 |  |

Then they could be transported to the Antarctic and forced to watch the wedding there in the nudders.

Peeps!
Perhaps I should explain that greeting...my avatar is the marshmallow Peeps sold pretty much in every store in the good old U S of A at this time of year. Can't stand them myself, I'm more into anything chocolate.

So, even if you are not a peeps person, you would LOVE Thornton's caramel flapjacks, Kathy.

Eve, I am so sorry you've had to make that difficult decision for your beloved Tipper. I think it is the last loving thing we can do for our pets. I also think they are all waiting patiently for us.
Rest in Peace, Tipper

My downfall this time of year are Cadbury caramel eggs, Ray. I try to be strong and limit myself to one a day. Occasionally, I'm even successful.

people. Kathy, do you know they now make chocolate dipped Peeps? I have tried them, pretty good. Caramel eggs are also my favorite. I walked right by them yesterday at the store, pretending they weren't there. TM was with me.

I will appreciate my sort-of husband today. He let me sleep in. Family coming for his mother's bday next Sunday, so I had better clean house. Even though they are not supposed to come here, they may stop by.

The answers to yesterday's puzzle: 1. nut-hut 2. broken-token 3. river-quiver(or shiver)4. winter-sprinter(or sleet fleet, or skier-flee-er, or glacier-racer)*Please note that I accept other clever answers, unlike that harpy from France!

To give another reason why I won't celebrate Husband Appreciation Day....
Around midnight last night, he came running to me to tell me that we had water pouring through the basement wall! He had NO idea what to do. I had to deal with it by myself. First I studied it, and discovered that the More...
